Item Description
C. 664-525 BC – 26th Dynasty – Late Period
A green/blue glazed amulet of Hours as falcon, with wings tucked neatly against the body and seated on a plinth. He is depicted wearing a double crown, a royal crown that symbolizes the union of Lower and Upper Egypt.
Intact with crude detail.
Provenance: Ex John Waring Collection, collected in the 1980’s onwards. Ex Coincraft.
