C. 664 – 30 BC – Late Period-Ptolemaic

A small solid bronze statuette of the nude, deity Harpocrates, also known as Horus the Child. The deity is portrayed with his index finger held to the chin and suspension loop to back.

Dark patina with good detail and a nice example.

Provenance: Ex John Waring Collection, collected in the 1980’s onwards.
