A beautiful pair of Egyptian faience double hooped earrings made from a nice selection of small flattened disc-shaped beads in red, yellow, green and black. It features a turquoise, triangular faience amulet to the centre, typical of the New Kingdom period.

Faience is a glazed ceramic, produced from quartz or sand crystals mixed with other compounds. It produces vibrant colours and is finished with an alkaline glaze to surface. The Egyptians believe faience represents immortality and rebirth.

A pair of beautifully, restrung, wearable earrings with a modern gold plated fishhooks and vibrant coloured beads.
