C. 17th century

A finely polychrome decorated, carved wooded and gesso figure of the Virgin Mary with hands in prayer, standing on a base depicting winged cupid below. She wears a long dark blue and black tunic and an elaborate red and black carved mantle, decorated with gold trimming.

Some damage to wing and hand otherwise good strong colour and finely painted facial features.
