Anglo-Saxon Bronze Long Brooch
Item Description
C. 6th century AD
A nice bronze long brooch with a rectangular head plate with four circular perforations in each corners. The bow is arched with a slight ridge to the centre with faceted corners, leading down to two raised mouldings in the middle section of the footplate. To finish the foot has a flattened T-shaped terminal.
Slight damage to head plate with slightly pitted surfaces otherwise a nice glossy green patina.
