Anglo-Saxon Bronze Long Brooch
Item Description
C. 6th century AD
A nice bronze long brooch with a square head plate which has circular perforations in the upper corners. The bow is arched with a ridge in the centre and has faceted corners. There are three raised mouldings with three transverse in the middle section of the footplate.
Slightly chipped and pin missing otherwise a nice green patina.
