A nice bronze age Cypriot burnished ware terracotta vessel with a globular body, a slightly flared neck and a single handle.

Uneven surfaces but intact and a nice piece.

Provenance: Ex A T Arber-Cooke collection, 1905-1993 and thence by family descent; collection acquired from the 1930s to the 1970s. Arber-Cooke was an amateur antiquarian and author of two books on British archaeology.
