A single handled round bottomed terracotta jug with a flared neck.  Pink and black surfaces due to firing with nice smooth finish.   Collectors hand written label attached to the side of the body.

Intact and super condition.

Provenance; Ex A T Arber-Cooke collection, 1905-1993 and thence by family descent; collection acquired from the 1930s to the 1970s. Arber-Cooke was an amateur antiquarian and author of two books on British archaeology.
