Cypriot Terracotta Jug With Trefoil Mouth

A nice Cypriot terracotta jug with a trefoil mouth and a wide body that tapers back in towards the flat circular base. It also has a single handle which connects the mouth to the body.
Slightly chipped surfaces otherwise intact and a nice size.
Provenance: Ex A T Arber-Cooke collection, 1905-1993 and thence by family descent; collection acquired from the 1930s to the 1970s. Arber-Cooke was an amateur antiquarian and author of two books on British archaeology.
