Daunian Pottery Kyathos
C. 6th-4th century BC
An attractive Daunian terracotta kyathos featuring a shallow bowl with an everted rim and a broad strap handle. Both the interior and exterior are decorated with black and red painted geometric designs, as well as the to handle and base.
Chip to base of handle and rim otherwise intact with some earthy surface deposits, strong colour and nice detail.
Provenance: Ex E. Attridge collection, collected from 1980’s onwards.
