Early medieval Iron Prick Spur

Item Description

C. 11th-12th century AD

A nice iron prick spur connected to side arms or a heel plate. Spurs would have been worn by both men and women and were used for military as well as civilian purposes.

Cleaned, conserved and intact with good metal.

Size: 106mm x 117mm length approx.
