C. 332-30 BC – Ptolemaic Period

A nice pale blue faience amulet in the form of a uraeus with its puffed-up hood with incised detail, and its coiled body which arches up behind. It symbolised royalty and resurrection and was the emblem of royalty.

Small nick to to base edge and of typical style for period with nice detail.
