Item Description
C. 1570-1070 BC – New Kingdom Period
A nice example of an Egyptian scaraboid, decorated with various hieroglyphs to base, which include wickerwork baskets, a double spiral and other symbols. It is also pierced longitudinally for suspension.
Slight chip to glaze otherwise strong colour with fine detail.
Provenance: Ex London Collection, 1990’s.
