Item Description

C. 2055 – 1550 BC – Second Intermediate Period

An Egyptian Lapis Lazuli scaraboid, pierced through the centre for suspension.

The base features various hieroglyphs including a seated female deity Ma’at, goddess of truth and order, with sun disc above and the head of a canine animal.

In good condition with some light earthy surface deposits and nice detail.
