Greek Bronze Ring with God Pan. Fine Engravings
Item Description
C. 5th-4th century BC
A fine example of a Greek bronze ring, with slightly expanding shoulders and a flat oval bezel engraved with Pan. He is the god of the wild, shepherds and flocks, and is depicted as a horned man with the legs of a goat, playing the reed flute.
Very small hole to bezel otherwise an excellent piece with fine engravings.
