C. 4th century BC

A stunning single handled orange glazed lekythos, decorated with radiating bars to the neck and a broad rimmed mouth for application. The oval body is decorated with a black hand painted criss-cross pattern.

Intact and a nice example with good strong colour and nice detail.

Provenance: Ex H. N. Collection, Milton Keynes, collected in the 1990’s.
