C. Late 2nd Millennium BC

An excellent example of a finely carved serpentine scarab ring mounted in a later silver ring. It was mounted onto the silver ring in 1970’s.

Intact with small chip to back of scarab otherwise a nice style and of a large size.

Provenance; Ex Private collection, Hove, East Sussex, UK, acquired 1960’s-1970’s.
