C. 3rd-4th century AD

A large Roman, thick walled, green glass jug with a globular body and a short tapered neck leading to an averted rim. It has a pontil mark to base and a small, swirled handle attached to upper body and continues around the neck of the glass to form a collar.

A beautiful, heavy, thick walled jug, in excellent condition and of a nice style with some iridescence to surfaces.
