Late Bronze Age Socketed Axe Head
C. 800-600 BC
A nice example of a socketed axe head with raised rib decoration and a straight cutting edge, which was moulded hollow as the wooden half would have been inserted inside the socket.
Nice example in good condition with nice detail and some green surface deposits.
