Medieval Bronze Dagger Chape

Item Description

C. 13th-14th century

A nice bronze dagger chape or scabbard chape, decorated with ribbed decoration. The metal fittings attached to the end of a daggers scabbard, to protect the edges and tips of the blade, of either swords or daggers depending on the size.
