Medieval Bronze Gilt Decorated Ring Brooch

C. 14th century
A Medieval flat bronze gilt brooch decorated with incised detail, and four circular perforations, with a free-moving central pin.
These of annular form brooches were used by both men and women, during the Medieval period and were very fashionable, with the buckle pinned at the neck as a fastener.
Intact with nice detail and complete with original pin.
Provenance: Graham Slater collection, Cambridge, collected in the 1980’s-1990’s.
