Medieval Iron Writing Stylus
Item Description
C. 13th-14th century
An iron writing stylus with a T-shaped pointed pin. The point at one end of the stylus was used for inscribing on a wax filled recess in a block of wood, while the other cylindrical end was used for erasing mistakes made by smoothing out the wax.
Intact and a good condition.
