C. 3100 – 2900 BC

An Ancient Holy Land terracotta bowl with a flat base and a row of simple decoration around the bowl. The Holy Land was the first region to enter the Bronze Age, which began with the rise of the Mesopotamian civilization of Sumer in the mid-fourth millennium BC.

Intact with minor nicks to rim and some earthy surface deposits. Nice quality for period.

Provenance: Ex North London Gentleman collection, 1990’s.
