A nice mineral pyrite or iron pyrite of metallic luster and pale brass-yellow hue, also known as Fool’s Gold. Pyrite crystals can occur in many shapes and were commonly mistaken for gold in the old mining days. Peru is well known for producing some of the highest quality pyrite in the world.
