Roman Bronze Astragalus (knucklebone) Gaming Piece
C. 1st-2nd century AD
A Roman bronze astragalus in the shape of a knucklebone. It is one of the most popular games of chance, used like dice or like jacks, thrown in the air and caught on the back of the hand.
In good condition and an interesting piece.
