C. 3rd-4th century AD

A nice example of a Roman bronze crossbow brooch with a high arched bow, with longitudinal arms with a dome-shaped knob protruding from both wings and head of the brooch. The arms also feature two applied rings, that sit beneath each knob. The long rectangular foot is decorated with incised detail and original pin still intact.

It has a nice green patina with good detail and complete with original pin.
