C. 4th-5th century AD

A beautiful translucent green glass double-flask balsamarium, finely decorated with applied spiral glass trailing. They were used for storing perfumed oils and expensive liquids.

Some trailing missing otherwise in excellent condition with a beautiful silvery iridescence.
