Roman Glass Unguentarium
C. 2nd century AD
A translucent blue glass unguentarium with a wide rim and tall neck leading to a small bulbous body, with a nice silvery iridescence to surfaces.
It was said that in ancient times, Unguntariums were used as tear-catchers for mourning loved ones.
Intact and in good condition with a nice iridescence
