Roman Glass Unguentarium
Item Description
C. 1st-2nd century AD
A translucent glass unguentarium featuring a domed body, a wide cylindrical neck, a small out-sprayed folded rim and a flat base. These would possibly have been used to contain various ointments, medicine, cosmetics or perfume.
Intact with some earthy surface deposits.
