Roman Gold Finger Ring
C. 2nd-3rd century AD
Solid gold finger ring with a bevelled band leading to a small square raised bezel which has a central hole. Ferrous deposits around the bezel points towards something being attached to the ring at some time through the hole on the bezel.
In excellent condition with good surfaces and a nicely decorated band. A nice heavy ring for it’s size,
Provenance: Ex M. B. Collection.
Size: 15mm internal diam, UK ring size L.
