Roman Marble Hand Of A Statue
C. 1st-2nd century AD
A nice Roman carved marble hand most probably of a nude, winged, child or cherub (putto), holding a dagger hilt, as suggested by the ending section. Probably part of a sacrificial scene.
Nice example with good detail.
Provenance: English private collection, bought before 2000s.
Size: 60mm x 90mm
