C. 2nd-3rd century AD

A fine Roman silver P-shape bow brooch featuring an arched bow which extends from the perpendicular bar. It has a returned foot-plate which curves back and is attached to the bow with a silver coil.

Although pin is broken, it is in a nice piece.
