Roman Silver P-shape Bow Brooch
Item Description
C. 2nd-3rd century AD
A fine Roman silver P-shape bow brooch featuring an arched bow with a central raised rib, which extends from the perpendicular bar. It has a returned foot-plate which curves back and is attached to the bow with a silver coil.
Although misshaped, with slight crack to pin, it in is intact and a nice piece.
