C. 1st-2nd century AD
A fine Roman silver ‘Kraftig Profilierte’ trumpet-headed brooch with a high arched bow, decorated with a linear patterns. The trumpet head tapers and flattens to an ovate leg, leading to three raised ridges the centre of the body, with linear decoration to the leg and an onion knob final with a nodule.
Small mark to head otherwise intact with original pin and nice example.
