Item Description
C. 1st-2nd century AD
A fine Roman oil lamp decorated with a gladiator to central discus, within an incised border and a voluted nozzle. Maker’s mark to base which reads: “COPPIRE”.
Intact with good detail and some light earthy surface deposits.
