Roman Terracotta Oil Lamp With Gladiators & Maker’s Mark

C. 1st century AD
An interesting Roman oil lamp depicting two gladiators to central discus, each wearing a helmet, holding a sword and a shield. It has a maker’s mark to base which reads: “ML”, with an angular volute nozzle.
Small repair to body otherwise good detail.
Provenance: Ex A. B. Collection, collected in the 1980’s -1990’s.
