C. 45 BC – Gnaeus Pompey

A nice lead sling shot with Roman inscription which reads: “CN MAG”. This type of sling bullets have been found in Spain and date to Pompey’s war against Caesar, specifically the Battle of Munda, which took place in March, 45 BC.

Nice grey/white patina with nice inscription and intact.
