Superb Roman Glass ‘Pillar-Moulded’ Cup
C. 1st century AD
A fine translucent blue/green glass with a slight tapered body and an out turned rim, decorated with fifteen raised vertical ribs on the exterior running from the lower section of the cup to the near centre of bottom.
An excellent example with some light earthy surface deposits and some iridescence to surfaces with good detail.
