Two Neolithic Stone Axe Heads & One Flint Scrapper/Slug Knife

C. 4th-3rd millennium BC

A nice selection of three neolithic objects, one flint scrapper/slug knife which bears the label, “Found In Somerset”, a grey coloured polished stone axe head with the label, “Neolithic axe found Hazard Hill Totnes. No.879”, and finally a dark grey stone axe head with a straight cutting edge and uneven surfaces which bears the label, “834”.

Some damage to the polished axe head otherwise nice examples and an interesting selection.

Provenance: Old English Collection from Devon, put together over the last 30-40 years.
