Very Large Decorated Attic White-Ground Lekythos
Item Description
C. 5th-4th century BC
A very large, Attic white-ground lekythos with a single flattened handle, attached from the bottom of the neck to the shoulders, which is decorated with radiating bars. It has a tapered body, which rests on a flat foot and has a small, deep mouth with a wide rim. The body is decorated almost entirely in white slip and is decorated with a figure.
Although repaired it is of a very large size and an interesting piece.
