A restrung Egyptian necklace consisting of a selection of flattened, disc-shaped faience beads in red, blue, yellow, black and green.

Faience is a glazed ceramic, produced from quartz or sand crystals mixed with other compounds. It produces vibrant colours and is finished with an alkaline glaze to surface. The Egyptians believe faience represents immortality and rebirth.

A beautifully restrung, wearable necklace with a modern silver plated screw clasp and vibrant coloured beads.
