Location: Hajoula, Lebanon.

Informal name of the fossil: Lobster

A nice example of a lobster of the genus Palinurus, ancestor of the modern-day spiny lobster.

Repaired matrix of sub-oolitic limestone and a good sized lobster with nice definition.

Matrix: 183mm x 270mm length
Lobster: 36mm to 193mm length including antennae
