Egyptian Faience Frog Amulet (Rana)
Item Description
C. 1570-1070 BC – New Kingdom Period
A small green glazed faience frog amulet Rana, goddess of birth and symbol of fertility, depicted with its head raised. It is pierced through the centre for suspension.
A nice example with strong colour and nice detail.
