A fine example of an Egyptian scarab amulet decorated with the goddess Hathor to reverse. She is depicted as a woman with the head, or ears of a cow, wearing an elaborate headdress, with uraei flanking her profile. Hathor, the goddess of joy, feminine love, music, and motherhood. The amulet is pierced longitudinally for suspension.
Excellent condition with a nice glaze and fine detail.
