Egyptian Steatite Double Plume Amulet

Item Description

C. 664–332 BC – Late Period

A steatite amulet in the form of a double ostrich feather. The front is flat with a central groove on both sides separating the plumes.

Although chipped with some surface deposits it is a good size.

Provenance: Ex H. N. Collection, Milton Keynes, collected in 1980’s – 1990’s.
