Miniature Greek Terracotta Black Glazed Squat Lekythos With Palmettes

C. 4th century BC
A fine example of a miniature black glazed terracotta squat lekythos, featuring a bulbous body which leads to a short, cylindrical neck with a flared funnel-shaped mouth and a flat rim. It has a single handle with a row of impressed linked palmettes on the shoulder, and sits on a ring foot.
Although repaired, it has fine detail and a fine black glaze.
