Kambaba Jasper is an attractive sedimentary rock with green and black orbicular discs, comprised of microcrystalline Quartz interlaced with Stromatolites, from Madagascar and South Africa. Quartz ancient fossilized colonies created by cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) and other primeval microorganisms, date back more than three billion years and were the first organisms known to produce oxygen.

Minor nicks to surface with good colour and an interesting piece.
