Middle Cretaceous Period, Cenomanian Stage- C. 100 Million Years Ago

Location: Haqel, Lebanon.

This is an unusual stingray with a rounded disc with a short-tailed ray Cyclobatis Major (actually a skate).  The quality of preservation here is exceptional as rays of any type are quite rare.

Although cracked, it is reinforced with resin back. Nice example.
