C. 1570-1293 BC – Dynasty XVIII, New Kingdom
A nice carved steatite scarab with incised detail to back and hieroglyphs to base, featuring a cartouche that forms the name MEN KEPPER RA for Thutmosis III, and other various hieroglyphs. The scarab is pierced longitudinally for suspension.
Slightly chipped with good, clear hieroglyphs.
